What do you think about energy healing?

Doc Yuan, energy healing has been around for millennia, and will outlast Medical Science too, so it is really not ‘New Age’.

I trained in Reiki and reached the Master level (hate the term Master, wish it was just level III). I have used Reiki to treat my wife’s Transverse Myelitis. We have noticed symptom reduction and improved mood after treatment. I can attest to the fact Reiki is powerful and very real.

I am first level Reiki and have way too many experiences of intermingling energy. I can’t say I understand all of the mechanics of it for it to work, but I no longer doubt it.

A couple of days ago, I published a post where I talked about Holographic Bioalchemy, a light-based, quantum biochemistry-informed, bioenergetic medicine tool I have been developing for the past four years and half, and I wrote in this post that I would be lying if I said I understood exactly how it works at the rational, logical, and scientific levels.

I already knew they are photons, but this 👇 is God/Goddess/Source sending me the answer to my question.

Someone IS listening.

Thank you, @Dr. Jason Yuan for channeling this message 💜🌟🙏

I've received dozens of types of energy healing: reiki, biofield tuning, other kinds of tuning forks, sound baths, unnamed personal styles of distance healing, emotion code, neo shamanic soul retreival, acupuncture, jin shin jitsu, shiatsu massage...

My observations:

-they ALL have a definite impact

-it doesn't matter at all if they are in person or over the phone. each can be strong.

- The effect is almost always stronger when another person is working on you or holding space with you than trying to do it yourself.

- sometimes im left energized and sometimes completely wiped out and exhausted. detox reactions like colds are possible.

- The treatments aren't necessarily miracles, although they can be like miracles for some people (much like supplements) sometimes they represent the healing of just a few layers of a complex issue, or sometimes perhaps just a temporary restructuring which reverts back to the engrained pattern.

Cranial osteopathy is great case in point. Now gaining traction in mainstream. Fabulous stuff.

Thank you for breaking this down in an easy to understand way, and for balancing skepticism and openness. It's very true that dismissing things out of hand because they don't fit the existing paradigm is not science - and if everyone did that, there are so many scientific advances (maybe all of them?) that would never have happened.

This is real. I have experienced it for myself and been taught how to use it to heal my own body when I had been medically gaslit and left to die at home of an undiagnosed infection resulting in sepsis. No medical care was administered.

I have been using alternative practices for years and as a super sensitive person always come out feeling more balanced and grounded. It's so hard to explain to my logical type friends as it's a feeling rather than having data to share!

My question is… how much is the placebo effect? I know that reiki was not even intended to be a healing medium! The mind has great power, when focused with intent. Most healing (and magic) is little more than that.

from what I understand, the placebo effect is in everything, but when it comes to energy healing, there appears to be an interaction with conscious intention. In a upcoming MD Anderson Cancer Center study (still under review) they found brain synchronization between sham practitioners and real practitioners with mice (first time ever) but only real practitioners, were shown to alter biological markers in the mice. my guess is that consciousness has a role to play in all these types of energy modalities. I will write on the study once it gets published.

As a practitioner of Medical Qi Gong, and the TCM form of bodywork, I appreciate how you understand there is more than placebo effect. First, we must understand that all symptoms are evidence of energy stagnating. Then, we must understand that energy flows where attention goes. Thus, if we have a headache, for example, this means energy is stuck in and around the head. By simply paying attention to our feet, as occurs with a basic foot massage, we can move the stagnating energy because our attention goes far from the head, and thus so does the energy.

It also helps to understand that energy moves in predictable patterns or ‘meridians’, so we can use the same basic protocols to encourage flow of energy in all meridians, and that is how one single basic bodywork protocol can resolve so many symptoms of dis-ease.

Placebo effect is powerful, no doubt. That doesn't negate its value. Harness it.

The thing we must keep in mind is that these spirits have their own agenda, and it is not the same as your agenda or my agenda. They have a mind of their own. Also, at the end of the day, the Biblical god is just another interdemensional entity, just a very powerful one.
